What is Give4Marion?

Mark your calendars and visit our social pages ALL DAY September 17th & 18th, 2024!

Give4Marion was created by the Community Foundation Ocala/Marion County. This event unites residents, businesses, and nonprofit organizations in Marion County for 33 consecutive hours to raise funds and awareness for local charities. This annual, philanthropic experience creates an opportunity for kind-hearted, generous people to make a monumental impact for good!

How to Give

If you believe like us, that women deserve a chance to triumph over trauma and a place to become whole, you can easily navigate to our donation page for His House for Her.  From there simply click DONATE and give via credit or debit card or bank transfer.  This designated platform makes it super easy and convenient for people everywhere to donate to the missions that touch their hearts the most.

If you prefer to give via cash or check, that’s fine also.  Just email renee@hishouseforher.org to pick up or mail to His House for Her, PO Box 830455, Ocala, FL 34483.  Just note Give4Marion on your check and mail in time to be received by September 18, 2024.

How to Maximize Your Gift

Special features of Give4Marion are additional cash prizes for contests such as the Power Hour when additional cash is awarded to the non-profit with the most donations that hour.  We also love Matching Moments that allow your donations to be matched dollar for dollar up to a certain amount.  It only takes a little planning to maximize your gift and you can find the contests at give4marion.org or watch our emails and social media.

Momentum builds as the platform continuously updates to show the overall total given, leader boards and top donors. The whole process is engaging and exciting for everyone involved!

2023 Impact in Marion County; His House for Her

Last year was the event’s fourth year with a record-breaking impact of $1.4 million raised for 103 local nonprofits.  This incredible achievement was made possible by 3,840 donors who made 5,762 gifts.  The funds raised helped organizations continue their vital work in areas such as education, healthcare, human services, emergency services, animal welfare, and more.

His House for Her has participated each year since 2020.  Each year has been better than the last with support pouring in.  Last year, we raised close to $40,000 in just 33 hours!  We reconnected with donors from past campaigns and met new ones, too.  We are thrilled to be a part of this amazing opportunity again this year!

Conclusion

For us, this fundraising event is about so much more than dollars on a screen.  It’s a celebration of recovery from trauma and addiction for women in need.  It’s also an expression of love for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who inspires our work every day—we want it to continuously grow and evolve.

This means safe, supportive housing for women in distressed life situations, a healthy, therapeutic environment with relationships that aid healing, counseling services, outreach classes, and so much more for women everywhere as we make plans to take our offerings online.

Your involvement builds a stronger, more connected community of healing that will last way beyond 2 days of giving.
